On My Way To Hollywood

Introducing

Jazzeropics – A New Genre by Joan Matthews

You will enjoy the full impact of the ten original albums (except one song) Joan Matthews has created.

Jazzeropics is an understated genre leaning on both classical and jazz music. The albums Sentimental, Preludes, Without a Drum and Flowers have evolved into the new genre of Jazzeropics over the years. This unbeatable combination of vocals, lyrics, melodies, and arrangements is soothing, calming and a part of the solution to this fast-paced world. As you listen, it should also make you think hard about past and present relationships, or ones you wish to have. Or, maybe you even prefer to stay out of them! These songs were designed from experience and the ability to see the optimistic aspects of relationships. The listener should find these tunes highly relatable, entertaining and delightful!

The Beginning of Spring

is an album for the jazz expert. The music is unsurpassed in collaborative cohesion of surreal vocals, creative timeless lyrics, and incredible piano improvisations. “Moonlight Over the River,” is a favorite.

Maybe Someday

is an eclectic album with many genres. From the classic jazz song, “One Alone Can’t See,” to the contemporary music of 1998, with a rock n’ roll tune “Dream On” and a rebuke, “Don’t Get Too Comfortable.” “Out of the Rain”, a fan favorite. This CD entertains to the max.

If You Only Knew

has a title track of the same name, and this prominent song brings out the best of a former romance. “Into the Darkness” is spectacularly unique, not only ahead of its time, but qualifies as Jazzeropics. “So Strong” is a prayerful ear-catching tune, while “All of My Life” is a stable wedding tune.

In Your Face Hollywood

Sorry dear i have a headache

I would like to thank

So many individuals, songwriters/vocalists, venues, and organizations have contributed to the success of this website and JAZZEROPICS. Collaborating with my esteemed colleague, Andy Calabrese, was just the beginning. My friends Mike Bricey, Mercedes Kelly, Susan Daly, Bruce Dunn, and Ruby Flores, Bets Quackenbush, Greg Walker, and my family were invaluable. The staff at Boulder Cafe and Lovin' Cup were essential as well. Tom Bruce of 75 Stutson venue provided great advice.

Being on stage with live audiences gave them different ideas and enhanced their lives, as well as mine. I would also like to thank the online audiences for tuning in, listening, and sharing. Steve Davidson, Kendra Ector, and Dorma Seepersaud of CBS, who cheered me on, were a great support. Naturally, EWebDesignUSA deserve applause for their expertise.

Look forward to more fun surprises and JAZZEROPIC hits on this website.
